The Brexit Secretary, Stephen Barclay has gone missing. Please search garden sheds, outbuildings and anywhere a vulnerable MP can build a den. Let’s get him home.

An urgent appeal has been launched across to try and find missing Brexit Secretary, Stephen Barclay.

He was last seen entering 10 Downing Street on 16th of November, 2018. After a short press conference where his appointment, as Brexit Secretary, was announced, he left the building and has not been seen or heard from since.

Initially his absence went un-noticed. The alarm was raised when a young intern, at Channel 4 News, was asked to do some Brexit fact checking and was surprised to find there was a Brexit Secretary. After ensuring this was not a spoof entry, questions began to be asked.

It was then people realised that the debates around Brexit, in the Houses of Parliament, Europe and the national media had continued, he had not contributed.

It’s thought this is the quickest that a public figure has been forgotten by the country since the last X Factor winner was announced.

There is concern that he left Downing Street in a dazed and confused state. He appears to have been unsure where he was, what he was supposed to do and how he got the job in the first place.

The public are being asked to check sheds, outbuildings, abandoned sports halls or anywhere a cold, hungry, confused politician could take shelter. If you do locate him, make no sudden movements, give him a cup of tea and a biscuit, then contact The Prime Minister.
