Following the success of her Lady Garden scented candle, Gwyneth Paltrow has announced a partnership with Greggs the Bakers to produce a range of fragrant muffins.
The muffins will release a scent based on Ms Paltrow’s unique biology and are described as having a fresh, yeasty flavour.
Greggs hope that their new ‘Tuck into a Muff’ campaign will get the country diving into muffins on a daily basis.
Their spokesman, Ian Napton, “Initially we were sceptical but once Ms Paltrow said she could produce her own raising agent we were sold. We see this as an aspirational product, by diving into Gwyneth’s muff our customers will be able to get a proper taste of Hollywood.”
The new range comes in plain, cream-filled and chocolate, plans to introduce a jam-filled version have been delayed.
Much to Piers Morgans annoyance, the new Greggs Muffins will be organic. “Over the years I have noticed the health benefits of eating muff and I want people to feel that when they are eating my muff we are both connected through the essential mother universe.” Says Gwyneth.
Mr Napton went on to say “We are very excited about the new venture, if this proves to be successful we can see celebrities lining up to produce a range of baked goods. Jordan’s Cream Pie, Lineker’s Battered Sausage and Piers Morgans Tuna Meltdown all sound like winners.”
