The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are set to start their family life on a ‘popular’ estate in Hastings

East Sussex County Council have revealed that the new home, of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. is a two-bed maisonette on a ‘popular’ estate in Hastings. It’s situated within handy walking distance of the seafront, local shops, major bus routes and there’s a thriving nursery around the corner. It comes with it’s own car-parking.

Charles Boniface said, “It’s a great honour for Sussex, to have Royalty living amongst us. The Prince was very clear that he wanted to live amongst his people.”

“As a Council, we don’t have any money left so, unfortunately, we’ve had to house them in one of the poorer towns in the county and although it’s a bit different from California, I’m sure Meghan will, soon, adjust to life in Hastings.” he added.

“We’ve liaised with Social Services, they’re aware the couple are moving in and will be on hand to offer Meghan every support, when the child is born. The flat is only a five minute walk from the job centre, which will be very handy for Harry.”

Some Royal Watchers were aghast at The People’s Prince living amongst common folk. “it’s just wrong!” said Mr Hewitt, “You can’t have a member of the Royal Family fraternising with ordinary poor people, it’ll end up sullying the blood line.”

One local resident said, “It’s brilliant, it’ll bring some glamour to the town. There’s a lot going on in the town. With his military experience he’ll be popular with the Battle of Hastings re-enactment society and the Thursday night pub pool league is very competitive. Maybe it will encourage other celebrities to move here, were all a bit fed up with our most famous resident being Jo Brand.”
